custom product development: customisation of the popular Pantheios C++ diagnostic logging library |
This notable player in the financial sector, based in New York City, contacted Synesis Software in Dec 2007 to design and implement custom front-/back-ends to enhance the performance to the ultimate degree - not one processor cycle is wasted - because they believe that their systems will need to produce diagnostic logging output at a greater rate than any other software system in history. An NDA restricts us from naming the client, their business, or the nature of the customisations, but we can say that they're delighted with the system's performance and reliability. They said that Pantheios operates with "clock-cycle speed", and in reliability terms "it's a "rock": In the first few months of its deployment it has processed on the order of 100,000,000,000 log statements without a flicker! |

Designed and developed, in partnership with Acxiom Australia's head of development, an extensible parsing and filtering engine. Initial prototype delivered within three weeks. Final solution completed (including porting to several different platforms) within three months. Engine was up to 100x more accurate and three times faster, than previous systems, |

The first phase of this engagement was to design and implement a remotely and dynamically configurable multimedia presentation platform. It was delivered in exactly 6 weeks from project conception, and was demonstrated shortly thereafter to the executive team of a national telecommunications company. The second phase of this engagement was to design and implement an internetworking server platform able to process in excess of 5000 messages per second |
